I planned on rebuilding this winch, pulling the drum, and turning it down on a lathe and rewelding it as a narrowed 12K, but as usual I took on more projects, and this one fell by the way side.

This winch needs a good going over, probably a total rebuild, as it has seen some use. New solenoids and some wiring is a definite. The housing has seen some wear, as it was used with out a fairlead. I don't have a remote for this winch, but that should be easy to come by on eBay I'd imagine.

All super easy stuff if you don't mind getting dirty, and Warn's customer support has always been great in my experience.

Prefer to sell to a local, so I don't have to ship the heavy bastard, but if you pay the shipping I won't complain.

Pics are attached.

Thanks!

Jon,

How long is it ? Wondering if it will fit the winch bumpers I have, ARB and Rock Ware.

Jon,

I have it feeling it will fit the Warn without much issue, not sure about the Rock Ware though

Doug, my 10K was on that ARB you have and I believe (you'd best check) that the 10K and 12K share the same body, they just have different gearing.

If I go 12k, I want to keep that for my 110 on the Rock Ware. I'll then let the just rebuilt 8k go with the 110 pickup that I have for sale. I'll check Warns site later today if time allows-hate Mondays

Charlotte
I'll be heading north from Charlotte, SC later this week, and was considering offering to pick it up for Doug on the way, but it's a bit far west.
