1995 Coniston Green D90. 99K Miles. $23K.
This is not the "Best D90 in North America". It is not "Virtually rust free". It is not a stock NAS. It has been a great truck though, and I've treated her right. It has seen trail use, but it's also my daily driver. Here's the bits:
The Goods:
2" OME Lift (HD front, MD rear with OME Trim Packers in the rear to level it out when loaded)
255/85 BFG MTs
Rear Tire Swing with Hi-lift mount
Hannibal Roof Rack
4 Hella Ralleye 3000 (2 pencil beam, 2 cornering beam, on relays with OEM column switch)
Rovers North Bumper with Husky 10K Winch
Dual Excide Batteries (No isolator, just wired straight parallel)
Aux Fuse Block located in rear of center cubby
Large Center Cubby with 12V sockets inside and on the rear
Rear work light - On all the time, off all the time, on with reverse
Oil pan cold weather heater with integral plug by the light
CB Antenna (CB not included)
XM Antenna (head unit included)
Dual Band Antenna (dual band radio not included)
12 Volt wired to wood rack for radios (x2)
Roof Rack box (fiberglass)
Interior steel box (grey one on the wheel well)
Ammo box (Fat .50 cal) mount (The ammo box in the pics is not included. Shown for mount only)
Includes all four jumpseats as well
The Bads:
2nd gear grind if shifted too quickly
When reversing, a rumbling sound comes from the tranny. It has done this for 2 years. I've changed the fluid 3 times and no chunks. It doesn't do it all the time.
Rear crossmember is suffering from some delamination but not at the "needs to be replaced stage" yet. Still solid. I intend to VACTAN (POR-15) this.
Body has 3 "oops". One on the front passenger fender. One on the rear passenger quarter near fuel filler, front bumper is tweaked slightly on the drivers side from jacking with the high-lift (see pic)
Rear a-frame ball joint makes a knock sound when accel/decelerating
Texas pin-stripping from trail riding.
Mechanics
Items recently replaced:
Cap, Rotor, Plugs, Wires
Wheel bearings repacked
Water Pump
Alternator
Clutch MC
Fluids changed frequently
Spares
Rear stock axles
Old alternator. It still worked when I replaced it, but the bearing was squeeling. Still good for a bench spare.
Third Member
The alloys were trade for the white steelies.
Vehicle is located in Newport News, VA.
Reason for sale: Becoming newest member of the '83 110 Source next month.
Thanks for looking!
