Strong Exhaust Odor

This is a repeat of a question I posted a few months ago. Just finished giving the exhaust components a good once over. Everything I saw seems to be in tip top shape. No major rust or cracks in manifold. PO might have even replaced some or all of the exhaust system. Problem is that the exhaust odor is getting worse and is almost unbearable with top on. Top is off now and can still smell it almost immediately upon startup while in driver's seat. Sound familiar to anyone? If not I'll have to take it in and let someone troubleshoot it. Is there anywhere else the odor can be coming from? Thanks in advance.

You may have done this already but, check headers and the the exhaust right at the headers, the 2 sometimes come unbolted. Also sometimes you cannot see a leak so it is best to try and feel it by running your hand over the exhaust system while it was running.
