FS 2003 Audi S6 Wagon

No its not a Rover, but its cool. This is my wife's car and has been dealer serviced and is up to date on everything. Synthetic oil used, etc etc. 2 sets of rims and tires (17" summer and 16" winter with Blizzaks) Red with grey leather. Loaded with everything (sunroof, power everything, climate cont. 6 disc CD, etc) The S6 came pretty much loaded and there were few options because it already had everything you need and more.
Its a 4.2 V8 with tons of power when you need it and pretty good on gas for an all wheel drive wagon that goes this good. She averages 23 mpg. 86K miles and under warranty until 100K. She now wants a new Wagon so the S has to go (man I hate to sell this car because they don't make any wagons with this much punch in the US anymore, bt I can't keep it and buy her a new one). If you are looking for a car that does it all this is it. Pix to follow.

I am not in the market for a car right now - but I just have to say - that this car kicks ass. It will make any owner very happy.

And no - ECR does is not giving me commission.......nor do they have my truck right now :)

That 4.2 V8 is a strong motor. I had a variation of it in my S4 which was traded in for my 90. There are quite a few days when I miss the torque and hp of it - what a fun car to drive. Not to mention the sound from the dual exhaust. I ran Milltek fullback and it was pure music.

Can't say I'm in the market but I wouldn't mind seeing some Audi porn.

Aaron - I'm sure you already know but the S versions are much sportier than the A's - more hp, bigger brakes, better suspension/wheels/tires. With a big car like the C5 a balanced suspension really helps.

My wife had an A6 wagon before this S6 (both red), both have been great with no real issues, just normal stuff, brake pads, tires, etc.. The A6 was a nice car... the S6 is a rocket and the funny thing is the get nearly the same mpg as the A6 did. She took great joy in the fact that her wagon was as fast as my Mustang GT (before I added the blower). It is so funny to pull up to people in a wagon and be able to dust them. I was going to post the price with the pictures so folks could see how clean the S6 is, but somewhere around 19K would do it.

If you get her an e55 wagon she'll be able to smoke your blown stang'. On a smaller budget, the V70R would be cool.

Nice... but the MB AMG is a bit out of my price range, nice ride though... and she only will drive an all wheel drive car. We get tons of snow where I live.
I'm not sure the AMG would get the Stang... maybe an even race. I have about 425 to the rear wheels and weigh less than the AMG so I think it would be real close. :) :)

She won't drive a Volvo... she feels the same way about those as she does mini-vans.

What about a new BMW 535xiT for a replacement. Considerably less than the AMG and has a twin turbo straight six and AWD...

The Audi scene is pretty fun. A little too much Honda Tuning going on with it now than when I first got my '99 B5 1.8T but for the bigger cars there are cool groups around.
