i dont know mr goodchild but for those interested there is a forum for land rovers from british columbia roverlanders.bc.ca where you might get a reference/information. just a word to the wary, if you do business with an overseas company/individual you have little to no recourse if things go sour. i got burned for a large sum by a different dealer in vancouver bc and am finding out how little leverage i have despite a signed contract. again i know nothing of this person and he is probably on the up and up but this type of situation needs extra attention to all details.

yes... i know of deals gone sour..... i have dealt with a number of people through this forum and also discoweb.... steve johnson has a defender 110 safari prepped wagon on its way and has had 2x 200tdi's from me as well as other bits and pieces.... as well as other engines to pittsburg and richmond virginia. also a high capacity pick up on its way to denver right now...... i cant mention names without checking with people first.

i will post pics and more details on trucks and engines over the weekend, we are also converting english defenders to left hand drive for those interested in them......

Duncan is a very nice guy to boot. He sent me a quick response about his 300tdi. So it saves him some responses about it, it's a white 2-door. He has a connection with a custom shop that can do left-hand drive conversions for about $4500. These have been used for shipping/utility purposes and are very well maintained. I'm currently searching for a D110 4-door with hopefully a 300tdi. If anybody has any leads or something, please let me know! Thanks!

i can build you a 5 door out of what i have here....... let me know what works. it will run you about $22K for the 300tdi i have fitted as a 5 door..... plus if you want a lhd conversion another $4500

Just curious, have you shipped any to California? If so, was your customer planning on registering it here? It makes me green with envy when I look at the British Car Service Camel Trophy 110. There is NO way that thing is legal.

yes.... i have shipped to california and never had any problems. have also sent engine conversions there too and people have put diesels into discos and defenders and not had a problem registering them as diesels....

where are you in CA ? let me know what you want and i can see if i can source it if i dont have one here already.....
