No more shaky speedo

Maybe only Ron and Jim C will appreciate this, but I finally got around to replacing the speedo cable on Janey (both sides, long story). It no longer has that wild 10-15mph shake!

Thats no tdi- 3.5 v8 he realy needs fuel ! So does Janey go every where @ 75mph ?

Must go 75 everywhere. Remember, a VA trooper thought Janey's pilot was famous and asked for an autograph on the way to the summer rally! Of course He walked up to the wrong window to ask for said signature.

Naah, the speedo reads fast. She goes everywhere at 70. :)

I just replaced both speedo cables on mine too. Big difference!

I can't believe the truck has traveled another 9k since the pic was taken in my avitar. Mike at ECR did not think it would make it around the block.

Either way, the Janey saga is epic. You see why I couldn't bring myself to restore her!

She goes faster but I try not to. Yes I really did get a speeding ticket in her on the way to the summer rally.

I ran it without a speedo for about 1500 miles too :grin
