By now most of us have heard of the new Crosslander vehicle that will is being manufactured in Brazil...

However, I recently was reading some information on the web about another Defender knock off that will be manufactured in Andalucia, Spain. The truck is actually built by the team that used to make Land Rovers. But this is an all-new vehicle that's incredibly cheap and is coming to the UK this summer.
Bearing the unlikely name of Anibal, it's the work of Spanish car manufacturer Santana, the company built Land Rovers under licence until 1993. Since then, it has been busy behind the scenes developing its own vehicle based on redesigned parts – and this is the result.

Clearly there IS a large international market for these types of vehicles. I don't think FORD will sit and watch one of it's marquee brands lose market share.
