300 TDI Alternator AMR4249 65 amp

After a bunch of calls for them I have started stocking the 300TDI Alternator. They are from Denso and ***DO NOT*** have the pulley. As of this shipment they are $169.95 but call me and mention D-90.com and they are $159.95. I hope this helps someone out.

Yes, I do agree but I ordered one 65 amp and they shipped us eight :hmm so we now stock the 65 amp ones for now.

x2. I'm having hell with the stock Magnetti.

If the internet is correct the 100amp for a 300tdi is a AMR4247. If you can confirm this net fact I already sell it as a standard 1997 D90 petrol part.

No, it is AMR4248

The petrol one is very close. A small modification is required to the engine front cover to fit the petrol part and then you can easily source an alternator AND the Tdi version will still fit....tahdah!

That is a question for Matt. I have no idea what the differences are other than by the item number.

300tdi vacuum pump is located on the side of the block, not on the alternator.
