Anyone replace these with stainless?
Can you let me know what you used and should I need to worry about anything before starting to replace these?

Yes, I did mine several years ago. The book answer is to use nylon washers anywhere where you risk stainless to aluminum contact, I'll admit to not doing that. Of the 10 locations, only outside 4 have that potential problem as I see it though. The rest thread into steel plates riveted to the tub. I do use anti-seize on my stainless.

Use nylon washers and slip rubber sheeting between the tub and the tabs.

any chance that you have the sizes of the bolts? I am looking to do the same project this week and have been unable to find a listing on the size of the bolts.
Thanx,
Jason

They are M8x25. The center 6 thread into captive nuts riveted to the tub. The outside 4 require washers and nuts. Nyloc nuts are best here. Might be a good place for the much-ballyhooed nylon washers as well.

Jim is correct, use PB Blaster on everything prior and you will have no problems.
It was very straight forward for me and I did use Nyloc nuts on the outside pairs. Again this is just one more thing out of the way which is protected from the rust monster.
