Anybody know what wattage bulb to use when relocating the turn signals to the lower marker light on a 94 D90 to get the correct flash rate?

1156 wont fit into the beehive lens on a 94. The wattage is right (it blinks at the correct rate), but the bulb itself is too big.
I looked in the charts and it says 7506 is the correct one, but they didnt have it in the store I was in.

You're right Scott. I tried to install an 1156 yesterday and it is about a quarter of an inch too long for the lense cover.

Hmm..I've got 1156 in mine with no problem. i don't think we replaced the bezel when it was switched.

Douglas,
I did some digging and found out that a 105 bulb will work. Its small enough to fit and the resistance is enough that the lights blink about right. I got the lights rewired now and the blinkers now work good.
Hope you find this as useful.

I just made this modification on my 110, and used the 105 bulbs on the front, but still have the fast interval. Any ideas?
everything else works great. At least it's flashing, I don't recommend driving around without front blinkers.... but it's a bit too fast for me.

yup, read it, did it, and used the 105 bulb to change the amperage, but I still get the fast twitch turn signal. They all fire, both front and back, but at the fast rate. Any other ideas?
I don't need the parking light to come on as well, I'm happy with just the turn signal only.

Just wondering what brand is the bulb? I have had the same problem with the dumb turn signals in the ARB I could put different bulbs in to get different flash rates. You may want to just try some different bulbes that fit to get the right rate, or you may have the wrong bulb in the rear turn signal. I would go to the parts store, and check their book to see what bulb is called out for the rear turn signal and check that against what you have.
