R380 Transmission Gear Box FS

For Sale: I have a R380 for V8 with 36,000 miles on it. It is the gear box only.
No bell housing or linkage.

$650 is the price. I just paid this for the unit, when I acquired another. I don't need both.

I prefer someone pic this unit up but if I shipped, it will be a buyers expense. Not sure how this thing would box for shipping. It's heavy!

It can be shipped in a simply made crate and shipped fedex or UPS oversize. IIRC the LT77 I shipped was in the range of $80 coast to coast.

Its a little stronger and doesn't have a quirky dog leg reverse.

The correct answer is, ... yes and no.

Sorry to be confusing. A correct R380 (COMPLETE) is a bolt in swap. Mine is just the gear box. You would need the Bell Housing (can be picked up on here for between $50 and $100 plus shipping. You would also need a gear linkage and the correct gear shift knob (with the new shift pattern on it) both available from Rovers Down South.

If mine were complete, it would be listed for between $800-$1000.

So, yes, ... and no.
