View Full Version : Oil cooler line / radiator adapters coming FS

ECR
In an effort to reduce costs we have had a large batch of fittings made for the later style radiator oil cooler lines. What this adapter does is go on the factory radiator with the correct o ring and all (later 94-97 style and replacement type) and turns it into an 8AN male fitting so that you can use normal speed shop parts in order to make your choice of oil cooler lines.
These are the same fittings we use on our projects, but they will now be available mail order.
We should have the first batch in 2 weeks.
Image attached of the later radiator type they fit, and an image of them installed on a 95 D90.
No costs yet, but spread over as many as we just had made it won't be bad IMO.

Tried to post this in the vendors loft but it wouldn't let me.

This sounds good. I just had the 90 serviced over at British Car Service here in Los Angeles and they didn't have a source for a 97 oil cooler line kit. Would love to know when you have the kits ready.

Mike, Do you have stock on the 93 NAS 110 lines?

Thanks

Radiator adapters are now in stock and ready to ship. Limited supply available.
These convert the later style fixed fitting radiators from the odd-ball land rover fitting to a standard 8 AN male fitting so that you can use speed shop parts in order to change your oil cooler lines to stainless lines with AN fittings.
Image attached of the fitting and of the radiator type it converts.
Price is per fitting (you will need 2) and it uses the standard Land Rover oil O ring, not included in the price. The price is for the machined adapter only. This is not for a set of cooler lines. This is the adapter only.
This fitting is for the V8 radiators commonly found in late 1994-1997 NAS Defenders. Some 1993 110s and early 1994 90s also have had this later radiator fitted as a replacement.
$30. each

If you would like to purchase please call Holly at 207-594-8086

Thanks!

Seems more clarification is needed.
These adapters work with standard 8AN racing fittings (Earls, JEGS, Russel, etc).
Using those bits you can set up a system for a 1993 110, a 1994 90 and a 1995 90.

The 1997 90 has odd input and output fittings in the timing cover. We are working on adaptors for that, but do not have them done yet.

So if you want to use these adapters for a 1997 90 you will need to figure out the timing cover ends on your own. We do not yet have a system for the 1997s. Other places may, so you may want to check that out before you order our 8AN adapters.

Thanks!

Appears more clarification is needed... geezuz...

These are adapters for the radiator. We are selling adapters so that folks can do their own thing with oil cooler lines. They are easy to make with speed shop parts.

These are just the adapters, not an instruction kit or parts to make oil cooler lines.

I already posted the parts list for the lines if your want to DIY.

Can you give me a shipping quote?:tounge

Sure!
Lets do one of each... Post Office, Fed-Ex and UPS so we can see what one is cheaper. :) :) :)

While you're at it, check for overnight, 2nd day, and ground - because sometimes there isnt much difference between 2nd day and ground, and if I could get them by this weekend to install them for my big trail run for only a few dollars more, that would totally be worth it.
