I saw this and thought somebody might be interested. I don't know much about the truck or owner, just that the Tdi was put in at 90K. Also, is the price fairly accurate for such a high mileage truck; does a 300 Tdi really add that much value to a D90? Then again it is from a dealer of some sort. Looks like it's in fairly good shape.

Looks to me like the one Marc had for sale in Atlanta,Ga. And from what I have seen a 300 Tdi does tend to bring quite a bit more money that a gas truck.

I was thinking the same thing

Nice rig I was considering way back when. I loved it was rigged for expedtions already
and has the additional fuel tank.
What turned me off was it didn't have a full roll cage, probably because of the POE top
(and it wasn't blue) :)

the ad says it's a tdi one place and a 3.9 V8 another.

I may be incorrect, but the section with pictures that lists the 3.9L, most likely uses a VIN decoder system to automatically list OEM equipment and options, thus why the 3.9 is listed.

I am certain that this truck has a 300 Tdi in it. I seriously considered buying it, before I bought my 110 with a 300 Tdi.

It does have a 300tdi and it is the one that was for sale by Marc. should have purchased from him, no tax and cheaper. It is a very nice truck. the engine does not have the 130k miles as listed on the website.

I am a dealer so tax is not a issue. I just did not think I could buy it at a price where I could do the things I wanted to do to it and come out on top.

Sorry, did not mean you specifically, just too bad someone on the forum did not grab it before it went to a dealer. Also, I think Marc had lowered the price to well less than $30k.

When I talked to him he acted like he was not very negotiable on price so I never even made a offer. In hindsight I guess I should have.
