Do you have any of the newer (aftermarket I think) "large" mirrors?

Had them before out of stock at the moment. Those are actually WOLF mirrors provided by an aftermarket source. Will see what the currrent price is. They are also unbreakable (or so it says).

The larger unbreakable mirrors are 69.00 ea (ouch). These are convex by the way.

I'll try a pair, I think they'd be pretty useful on the 110 - the stock ones are pretty dinky.

Steven, just to be clear, will the convex replacement glass make objects appear closer or further away? I got replacement mirrors recently and they make everything look a lot further away than they really are compared to my old ones.

thanks
charles

"Objects in mirror are closer than they appear"

Do I have to come stencil that on your mirrors?

:)

LOL. They already have "Objects are REALLY closer than they appear" on them :)

Still don't like em.

Actually, Stephen: You can get the larger 2007 model Defender side mirrors and they look just like the stock mirrors from the 90's era.
Intead of a 7 inch mirror, ... they are 10 inch.

I have them on my 110. They are great!!

You should look into them. The Wolfs are great if you are a hard core offroader, ... but they look nothing like the stock mirrors.

Mmm, interesting!

Follow-up Post:

Steven - what exactly are the large unbreakable mirrors? - it looks like Wolf mirrors have long arms, which I don't want. Are the 69 dollar ones OEM?

So anyone know the answer to the convex lens question?

SafariHP

The convex glass widens the field of view therefore more info same size space. I looked at regualr glass and convex and things look smaller in the convex glass.

Jim not sure on the arms. Order a set and will have them next week with reviews and images. Installed a set on that 90 I rebuilt a few years ago. If I recall only the heads were bigger.
