LT77 oil capacity [Archive]

I just put two quarts of redline mtl in the box and it wasn't to the point of overflow. I think the book calls for the equivalent of 1.8 US quarts. Slightly more than two quarts of old oil came out. Is 2 adequate?

Its 2.6 liters, a little more than 2.5 bottles of MTL. Wait till it overflows from the fill plug and your good to go.

Yes, two and 1/2 MTL bottles, more if it has a trans cooler.

I was hoping to make it to MAR this year but I still have the electrical and the LineX to do and I'm running out of time.

I will post pics of my electrical in my build thread later today, you will understand what I'm up against.

So I guess it will next year. Snif ! :cry
