welcome chip, we are in the process of getting a rover club together here in wilmington. so, we will keep you posted. actually we are heading up to uhwarie this weekend for an event, 3 hours away. hopefully we will meet soon.

The north carolina guard has a small training facility on the beach in Ft. Fischer, and they'll be doing an exercise for a few weeks in early Nov. I will be heading out there Nov8th in my 110. Maybe I'll see you in the area. Ft. Fischer has the beach you can drive on with a 4x4.

We are meeting tonight to discuss a spring trip, maybe Tennessee. Then plan for an out west adventure in the fall.
I saw a truck that looks like your avatar last week....35's maybe a rockware bumper?

Yeah Bryan - you may have seen my girlfriend out driving around last week in like the wrightsville / ogden area. The bumper is an ARB its rollin' on 37s...it also has numerous rock scrapes and dents - so its fairly easy to identify.

Glad you held onto that truck Chip. If I could have worked a little more out, I would have bought it when you were trying to sell it.

Yeah - I was glad that I ended up keeping it too. I almost sold it before my last deployment, but ended up just putting it in storage - well worth the trouble of storing it.

haha.. oh i remember.. I was trying like a mad man to make stuff happen to try and buy it.
Thats the 2nd time I couldnt pull it together for that truck. Guess everyone has a white whale.. mines seems to be that white d90.

Now that it's going to be sticking around for a while I am even contemplating making it a diesel...it'll probably be a permanent addition to the family once that happens though.
