Shipping a SD Roof Basket [Archive]

Has anyone tried shipping one of these via Greyhound? Any other reasonable ways to ship one?

I had mine shipped FedEx freight. Damn near cost more than the basket by the time it was all over. Around $400.

I shipped one UPS freight east coast to west, around $500 two years ago.
