clutch series

looking for clutch input diameter. not sure if it is 1 1/8" or 1/16" diameter. need to know so I can look at different clutch, gearbox and tranfer case, engine combinations. looked over the web and could not get a straight answer. any help would be great.

Are you looking for the the measurement at the clutch disk centre, at the splines? I checked a series 9.5 inch clutch plate and it was 1.125.

sweet. did the math and that equals 1 1/8". I did the research and found a clutch from a mustang 2 might work. also found that the sm420 or the sm465 has the same shaft size. Now just need to double check the input shaft stub lenght. I show that the rover has a 6 1/2 lenght from tip to housing. this should be the same as the sm gearbox that I am looking for.
