Mail not being delivered

I've used the "email" feature a few times in the past couple of weeks and they're not being delivered.

Yes, there seems to be a backend issue with emailing. This seems to have been an issue first showing up as new members never getting the activation/confirmation emails after signing up for an account. I have never been able to isolate if it is a server issue or software with the fourm and its not constant. I always get the email notifications of emails or threads I subscribe to but I do get feedback every now and then that people are not getting emails sent through the forums interface. I think there is a way for me to change the email option to display the email address and then you can send the email via your own email client.

Basicly at the moment there still is not a solution to the problem and it may very well go away when I upgrade the forum to the newer version.

Hmm.... I wanted to just bite the bullet and go last weekend but one of the major issues is I still have not worked out is getting the Links section working with the new version. There is a lot of links there and I really dont want to re-enter them all again.

Its a major upgrade from this version and still a lot of new learning for me.
