Selling my currently installed Safari Gard 3 Link and HD Cross Member. It is in very good shape with a few scratches along the bottom of the steering gard from making friends with rocks. All parts included to bolt up to your 90. The 90 is currently at Inland Rovers and should have the components removed within the next week. The 3-Link and Cross Member are approximatley 3 years old with around 15,000 miles. I'm looking to get $700 plus shipping. Let me know if you need pictures. Feel free to call Gordon at Inland Rovers with any questions on the condition. His number is 951-354-5400.

Thanks Dale, PM back at you.
Does anyone know if the HD Crossmember will fit a Disco 1?

No, the Defender Frame is taller, so in order to fit a Disco 1, new holes would need to be drilled and possibly a section of the top cut off.

Why are you selling it? What are you planning on replaceing it with?

I would probably be interested for $500.00I'm going to install a set of Inland Rovers radius arms. In SoCal there are a lot of crazy drivers on the FWY and with the flow of traffic at 70+MPH I think that the radius arms will be a bit more stable. I'm going to miss the off-road capability for sure. I'm going to hold out a bit longer for my price, but thank you for the offer.

Andrew, is the price for the IR arms really $1500? You know another option is:
Ultralight Radius Arm Std Castor (45mm)
Ultralight radius arm, wide axle bush (45mm) with standard castor suitable for Defender 90/110 from 1994 onwards chassis number: LA930456>
From QT for only $250 each.

They have US distributors as well. Make a 3 link, HD motor and trans mounts, etc too.

I would second the QT links over the $1250 ones

The SG 3-Link is still for sale. Don't want to turn this thread into my reason for going with the IR instead of the QT, but am very happy with my selection.

take a look at the pics I posted in the help section (radius undone) and you might think again.
then again I can show you the folded up SG link too if that helps.

Neither the Equipe or QT have holes under the axel like that ...at least the ones available today

Not that i love to pimp SG products... but clarification on the famed Lawn Chair 90 is needed. I was Denis Yards 90 and the fault was not SG it was poor welding by Dennis on the cross member tabs. After that mishap SG would only sell the 3 link with the upgraded cross member. Ive seen the 3 links in action on Frank Motleys 90 and several others it is a solid set up... Its a bit to flexy for my needs now that i'm living in NH... I thought about this for a long time and I decided to go with the QT Arms.... IMO its a great set up for a trail rig but keep it off-road its way too flexy up front....
I can tell you first hand what its like to flip a 90 on I15 at rush hour and that experiance is what made me go with the QT arms.... No I had stock arms towing a 10 foot dump trailer that broke its axel... Of course it was grossly overloaded
