View Full Version : Badger Half-Cab FDS

Complete- Half cab, tonneau and drop curtain plus the hardware. It's a 9/10, I've put it on the truck about 7 times since I've owned it and accidently broke one of the buckles at the passenger side B pillar while putting it on while pulled over on a highway during a thunderstorm.
It's much easier to put on and off than the standard LR top, and I don't need to say anything about the Badger quality. I will post more pictures when I get home and get it out of storage, but here's one of it on my truck.
I think $1100 is a fair price, I'm only selling to buy a Badger II.

If that thing was khaki you would have a check in the mail today. Good luck selling it. It should go fast.

Off subject, but what kind of lift and size tires are on your defender?
It looks like a real nice setup. Looking at replacing my 33x12.5x15 tires soon and wanted to move up n size. Nice top!
Thanks

I don't think any owners bios have been posted in a very, very long time.

I'm not in the owner bios section, and I've been here a few years...
I'm not a "founding member" though - I never knew the Chuck with a Q.

Ok I got pictures... it is cold and the top has a few fold kinks. Picture 3 is my pasty hand showing the broken buckle.
Pendy- I didn't get an email from you so I'm assuming you meant you emailed your client. For you today free shipping. Or tomorrow, or next week...
Keith- It's just a standard old defender, started out as a white 94 now it has a 4.6/auto, leds, arbs, 4.75s, stronger axles, stainless fasteners, yada yada yada...
If Jim ever finishes his 110 list he may have time for the bios!

Again, this is why I think we should have a "Rig of the Week" thread. I brought it up in a previous thread (not sure how to link to that thread?).
The idea is simple: sign up for a week in advance, then post pictures and a detailed description of your rig, any modifications, and what type of wheeling you're into. Members can then post feedback, ask questions, etc.
A good way for members (especially new ones) to introduce themselves to the board.
Sorry again for the hijack Trae.

Oh no, the owner bio section is super-secure and CvC has never granted me the access to edit it...

Went mini 3-4 years ago, I bumped into him on a mc forum when we had ours. He was still occasionally lurking here, though. Wonder what ever happened to his rig? IIRC, he was one of the very first to go 35s (dating myself here).

Would you want to sell just the tonneau? If so, I'd be interested.

One right makes a wrong. My math was incorrect after looking at the Badger site... so it should 1000 and free shipping in the continental US.

Adding the parts up new from Badger $1090.00 plus tax and shipping. What would you take for the set shipped?

This half cab is the fabric door seal type and not the gutter kit version. The Badger half cab FDS kit is $1490.00 new.

Will the drop curtain work with the Badger strapless bikini? If so, I would definitely be interested if you break the set up. Email is my best contact. Thanks.

It seems people only want the parts, so Tomasco which part were you interested in?

November 18th, 2008, 08:10 AM
I really only need the 1/2 cab, its seems others need the curtain, and I'm not sure it would work anyway.
1) Does it have the windshield header?
2) Does anyone know how tought it would be to fit on a SW?
Thanks
Treuwer

I consider the windshield header bar as part of the truck and not the top, as I need it for any other top I want to fit.
The SW.... where to begin. You need the bars that tie the roll cage to the windshield frame (with snaps), as well as the roll cage... I think you'll find it's going to be cost prohibitive for you.
At any rate, I'm having a tough time deciding on the next top color, thinking maybe tan on the black truck would look nice. Any thoughts?

I have the NAS SW rollcage

I figured it did't include the header bar, but it was worth a shot!

Our tops are made to fit the NAS rubber coated soft top roll cage and will not fit the roll bar from the station wagon. Unfortunately this will not work on your vehicle.
