Painting Fiberglass Top

Has anyone out there painted their fiberglass top? If so, how did it look and how did it turn out?

The one on the cover of the Rover's North catalog is painted - and it looks really nice.

I'm planning on painting mine here shortly, my plan is to sand the grain down a bit and use "Straightline" body filler sold by POR-15. It has a very high resin content so aherance should be OK. Natually, I will experiement first.
