I know this asian pornstar that got paid 5k to get forked by a llama. I have a pic of her holding one of my rifles if anyone wants to see it and puke. Thats a cool poster, wish I was closer so I could just pick it up.

Sorry, I missed the post online bit.

I offered $75.00 shipped.

ps: Land Rover Nashville has this poster in their showroom still. I am surprised no one has complained! I love though, my wife thinks it distasteful.

Sent you a PM!!

I vote for scaning it as well.

I also have a dealer poster in my gameroom that shows the 1994 model Range Rover and Defender 90 parked in front of a English country house. I will see about posting a pic and getting it scanned if anyone is interested.

I guess I am going to have to get permission to get this poster reproduced!
I think the local LR manager will do that for me. All I need to get it done is approval on some type of LR letter head.

I'm just going to get it scanned. I have spent enough money with LRNA to justify a few copies of a 14 year old poster.

I'll give you $200.00 for it.

Go ahead and scan it first. I'm a team player...

I still think it nice to make your own posters - this thread inspired me to stop by a kinkos to check into pricing. This evening on my way home I am going to take one of my B&W images of my truck and have it printed out 3'x5' for about $112. (it is about $7.50 sq ft). this is a pic of my truck near the base of Mt. Williamson on the eastern side of the sierras. I am going to put it in my office... I also use this image as a background on one of my PCs

I'm with Len - make a poster with your own truck!

3'x5'? Thats friggin huge. You going to frame it?

3'x5'? Thats friggin huge. You going to frame it?I am not sure I would frame it...I don't expect real high image quality.... we'll see and I'll let you know. Most of my good images are made with my 2.25" x 2.25" Hasselblad - (film) camera - this image was made with my vintage Nikon F 35 mm. I scanned the negative then bumped the resolution up. Kinkos offered to do a test patch print as my desired scale... so we will see.

I agree with making your own. I had done the 1st of a series of 5 for this year's URE! (Uwharrie Rover expedition). Of course this is illustrated and not photographed.

No, I did not... I was bidding on the framed one, but my buddy won it. I am working on him though.

Ho do we go about convincing you to scan these in so we can get a couple pics made? Espicially the Rover Love one. I know an online company that does a great job and can even put these on canvas. I had a large Ferrari one done for my office and it was fairly cheap to have it put to canvas.

LenI got my image back from Kinkos - I decided on 48" x 30" (4' x 2.5') I was really suprized by the end result - I now have a kick ass, big poster of my truck on the wall. I didn't use a high tech camera or even a digital camera to make the image - just my old '73 nikon. I didn't even print the image in my darkroom - just scanned the negative and bumped the image size to 9 MB. Any modern point and shoot will get even better results than what I have done so don't hesitate to try it yourself. it cost $8 a sq ft. ($80) but is one of a kind. I use to have a couple of my fine art B&W prints on the wall.... I won't miss them at all!

Damn thats nice! Ok, but after I factor in the cost of getting my truck out west to take a picture like that, it's going to come out to far more than $80 ;)

Yes, I keep a clean desk.... I pull out all my working materials during the day and put them away at night.... it stems from spending the first 25 years of my career working in highly compartmented DoD and Non DoD classified environments.... I never even had an office with a window for the first 25 years of my career! Of course my workbench at home/garage is a rats nest!

Thanks for the complements..... If you want, send me a pic of your truck taken from a similar perspective... I can photoshop it into many different locals here in the west! Some of the cooler images appear as the intro images on my web site... I have a script rotate through many good color images from our trips every time you hit/refresh the homepage. Find one you like and I'll bet I can get you into the picture....then return your file to you - then you can go on down to kinkos!
