I have the 4.11 gears in my 95 D90 and the speedo is way off. I have been browsing some bio's and saw mention of a mod that could correct the speedo. I am a motorcycle enthusiast and know there are "yellow boxes" made for installation on bikes when you change your sprocket sizes from stock so you can see your correct speed. Am I correct in believing there is such a product for Defenders as well? If so what are they called and where can I get one.

I did the speedo gear change on my jeep when I had it - it is a common thing to do. However for the defender, most people seem to go buy a VDO aftermarket speedo/odo which is adjustable.
Apparantly there is a speedo gear somewhere, but I havent gotten info on that yet.

I think you can change the gear in the T-case that the short output cable going to the speed sensor is hooked to.
