ARB/Engle mounting in rear seat of 110

With the radiator and intercooler coming in, it's time to start coordinating a bunch of work on the truck. One of the (many) things that needs to be done is to mount my ARB Fridge in place of the middle rear seat. I'm certain I've seen mention of this before, but can't find any threads addressing how people have done this (was it Jesse Ware that did it?). I believe I can just bolt some 1" marine ply to the existing bars that orient the seats and mount the fridge to it with the transit lock I have for it, but would like to hear others' experiences.

thoughts/advice appreciated.

I'm pretty sure it was Jesse's truck. I remember seeing pics of it when it was at Copley.

Yeah, I remember that thread too, but can't find it for some reason. I think one person cut the 60% side down to 40% and I think another bought a second 40% side and used two of those to create room for the fridge.

My truck has a 3 way split, but the middle seat supports the side seats so you'd need to modify the side seats if you remove it.

Try test fit it - I looked at this on mine and decided to pass.

Instead of cutting up a 40/60 or something, I'd investigate getting separate rear seats from Exmoor (either the mid or high-back) and installing those. The separate seats from Janey and the early 110's have very low backs.

yeah they fold ip nice which I like but I am sure they are not very safe!

Mine are the 3 seperate trakkers, and you're right, charles, they fold forward Very easily. that is better than folding rearward easily, though. If I get some time tomorrow (after finishing the suspension on the miata -- what a pain that is) I'll test fit it.
