Good stuff! lol

My 07 vette 671 rwhp and I like the steering wheel. Also 28.7 mpg

You should add one about every Land Rover that says leaks are normal because they are to lazy to fix them. lol

Because "whats leaking on my left foot" and "is there a way to make an aluminum hardtop fit over my Soft Top cage" aren't funny any more.

My 07 vette 671 rwhp and I like the steering wheel. Also 28.7 mpg Whoa - excuse the hijack, but I gotta ask, what have you done to pull HP #'s like that? (An inconspicuously mounted pressurized bottle with hidden tubing comes to mind...)

The top dog Z06 Vette in '07 was the LS7 7.0 litre/(427 ci) putting out 505 HP and 470 lb/ft of torque.

To borrow ECR Mike's term; I too am a serious 'horsepower freak'.
Putting out 33% more HP than the factory thumper LS7 piques my interest.

Putting out 33% more HP than the factory thumper LS7 piques my interest. a little head work, arp bolts, blower cam, blower 12psi, no cats, electric cutouts, meth injection. Tial relocated blowoff valve, backwards intercooler setup to redirect air through the fender intead of behind the radiator to keep air temps down, 60# ford svo fuel injectors and some other minor stuff. I'm also at 500 ft.
I have backed it down recently and am probably putting out just over 600rwhp because our 93 octane stations in town are down to 2 now so I'm running 91 on a real conservative tune. Remember that listed numbers like on a Z06 are crank hp numbers and do not take into consideration drive train losses of as much as 17% on that car. I'm running an 07 base model with the 6.0. I could get more but I can light up the meats at over 80 mph the way it is. It also idles very nice and is docile in traffic as well as averaging over 28mpg on the highway at 90mph. I've done a few now and can pretty much get one done in a weekend. Very fun stuff!
Seems like it is easier to work on than the defender. Seems like something went wrong with the pilot bearing on the clutch install and I've got to pull it apart again. I'm not looking forward to it.

Also, no bottle

does all that void the warranty? ;)

Yes it does. I have a habbit of taking everything apart as soon as I buy it. Most of the time it works out ok. Sometimes I have to put one all back the way it used to be and then they fix it..lol

I have a lot of spare parts to put things back together with. I'm slowly figuring out this rover thing too!

"Porsche forums

Owning a Porsche, and being on a couple Porsche Forums, I would like to know what the basis of that joke is? I can tell you - Porsche people seem to be just as hard core and dedicated as Land Rover people - especially those that seek out forums in the first place........
