Had a friend working on my D90 and had to take off roof rack to get in his garage. He put it on the top against my wishes and put a nice 4' tear in the left front side. Top is pretty new and has no issues besides this. It is a Badger Coachworks.
Does anyone know if a repair can be done to the top? Badgerman can you help me out?
His suggestion was to get a new top at my expense off couse. Told them ran north of 2K, thought his jaw was going to drop off. Then said just to get a hard top. Again told him north of 1k used with alot of work that had to be done.
Thanks for any info,
Keith

Keith:
Take it down to Stephen Brothers off of West End. (in Nashville ... of course)
They are the best in town.

I would have the person (ehem) that worked on your truck, ... pay for the repair. I believe if the tear is clean, they may be able to repair it clean.

Keith,

Take a photo of the damage and email to me. I'll let you know what the best way to go is.

Thanks Chris. I'll get one out to you as donn as I can.
I always look out to help those in need by giving them odd jobs on the side that are to expensive to have done at the stealership, but sometimes it backfires. This is one of those times. Poor guy could not afford new top or the repair, so I paid him for his time and I'll have to worry about the damage.
