Per Dave Lucas' OBDII reader (thanks again Dave) my vehicle is throwing this code along with the code P0430 twice.
We reset it on Saturday and they came back again. I had Autozone pull the codes today and got P0430 then P3999 then P0430 again.
I can look up P0430 on Spanish Trail's website but cannot find P3999 anywhere.
Does anyone know what this applies to?
Thanks,
artm

Is this code permanent or temporary. My OBDII reader sometimes shows this but it is temporary and always pending, not actual.
I always thought it was a "glitch" code, nothing to worry about.

Art, I think you're right.
In searching the web I located your post to the LRX BB about a year ago and one other (Motorcars LTD forum). I posted the question there and got this response:
"From what I gathered from the manufacturer, this code is an internal code caused by the tester, usually due to wrong connecting/reset."
Weird, maybe it's somehow tied to the other code.
Anyway, thanks for the reply.
