I am getting a used AC system for my 95 ST. I was wondering if anyone had any installation instructions. I was hoping to do some of the install myself and then have a shop finish it and charge the system.

Does anyone happen to have the install instructions for an ac system? It's a 94 system into a 95 ST.

Thanks,
Alex

I've got the install instructions for a 97, and I owe them to TDi guy too. PM me your email address and I'll send 'em to you and him both.

We've got hardtop and other instructions on this site, so I'll assume for the time being that these don't count as manuals (which LR sells as opposed to gives away) and we'll just post these here on the site unless CvC or someone else takes umbrage:

Sorry about the massive delay. The scanner tanked, so had to buy new, bought one for Mac, had to upgrade opsys etc.

Follow-up Post:

The handwriting on the wiring diagram is my efforts to decode the simple logic circuit. Turns out that there are two outputs from the computer that correspond to temperature values as read by the sensors. On my Tdi, I jumpered these leads with constant 12v and thus did a "manual override" of the temp safety system. So if my Tdi had started to overheat, I would have had to manually shut off the AC. I had a lot of fun with it.
