NAS V8 tach- will it work with a Tdi ?

Anyone know if the VDO tach that came in NAS 90's will work with an alternator signal from a Tdi ?

Have one lying about and woud love to have a tach.

Yes, they work great. Use the same tach in all our Tdi installs.

Mmm interesting - how is it wired? Is it eed from the alternator and earth?

Signal wire on the tach goes to the W post on the Tdi alt.
Same thing as in a V8 EFI.
