If the grill panel is not the "pushed out" AC type, and its not what Tony is trying to buy, then I will take it please.

Is that easier to fix/solder than my radiator ? Aren't there two spades on those.

Is that easier to fix/solder than my radiator ? Aren't there two spades on those.I bought a kit from NAPA to repair a broken line in the defroster in my J**p and it came with additional stuff to repair a spade connector that is broken off. You should be able to get a similar kit for $10-15 and repair it pretty easily.

sounds good, thanks. doug I believe you are correct that there are two tabs

Sorry, Jim, it will work perfectly for my oil cooler. Would an un-vented one work for you?

JimC

Yeah, an un-vented one is fine with me. I don't need a vent at the bottom.

Your prices are way too expensive! I have seen cheaper on e-bay by a long shot.:grin
Additionally i saw a station wagon ribbed roof on the local LA, Craigslist going for about $450- a few months ago.

Hi guy!

Thanks for the input. I'm open to offers on all parts. no problem if anyone thinks it is worth less, I have researched stuff and based my prices on what I've seen, and think they are reasonable. Also not looking to earn profit at all, in fact I am just recouping what I spent and trying to get some space back in my small inner city yard, and reduce the burden on people who are graciously storing things for me. Please, by all means please feel free to make an offer if you see something you want and my price seems out of line.

On that note, what was the condition of the $450 roof. that is a pretty good deal for someone. And I spend more than a healthy amonut of time on ebay and don't recall seeing these items recently. Yeah, you can get a roof from down south for $200 but if you are in the NE US you will have to ship it, and it will have a hole. Mine has no holes, and is straight.

Cheers,
Dave

I have it and believe it is in VGC. I'll go back and see what they go for. That part is in NJ and still attached to the bulkhead so may take a some time to get to it. IIRC it has a flip up ashtray in the middle.

best regards

Cheers,
Dave I said it was on LA, Craigslist not fleebay & the roof was fine going by the pictures & description!

Rovers down south is a business with all types of expenses involved & still manages to make a profit selling the roofs for $200- .

That hole is for a police light and was professionally cut & its no bigger than 1 ½ inches in diameter. I am sure Defender owners can come-up with a creative way of using it to their advantage & even if they cant I don’t think that hole is a $550- fix!
