Center Console

I've been contemplating getting a new(or relatively new) center console. Looking on the internet all I've really found are the Tuffy products. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Possibly one that does not require drilling? I need one that locks and has a radio compartment.

I have a Tuffy and its real nice, lots of room and locks up good. You may want to check on some UK site or in some UK mags, I know over there there are some other options but I bet you will have to drill no mater what.

The problem with the new consoles is they don't have the radio mount in them since all new D's have the radio in the dash. However, I'm sure they'll build you one but you'll pay more. As of now you have two choices, Tuffy, or stock.
.. or you can always have one custom made.

Ok, thanks for all the help, it looks like I'll end up getting a Tuffy. A custom made one would probably be more expensive. And thanks for all the links Mike it gave me a good idea of what's out there.

Ken, what search are you using? There is the search in the black area at the top of the screen that says "Search the site". There is also the other and better search for searching the forum. You scroll up to the top of the forum, (any page in the forum section will work) there is the search button between the Purple Help and Home buttons.

Wait a second, that thread is on the old board, so you need to use the search function on that board. If you go to your link and look at the bottom of the screen there is a search written in black. Clear as mud now?:grin

Seriously, though, it took me a while to find that post of where I bought my Tuffy. Didn't find it by searching "Tuffy" or "console". I had to search the old BBS by my username. grrrr. Plus, I thought I posted something about the installation and it never appeared either.
