Hippert, How do you search for stuff on the BBS?

Ken, what search are you using? There is the search in the black area at the top of the screen that says "Search the site". There is also the other and better search for searching the forum. You scroll up to the top of the forum, (any page in the forum section will work) there is the search button between the Purple Help and Home buttons.

Wait a second, that thread is on the old board, so you need to use the search function on that board. If you go to your link and look at the bottom of the screen there is a search written in black. Clear as mud now?:grin

Seriously, though, it took me a while to find that post of where I bought my Tuffy. Didn't find it by searching "Tuffy" or "console". I had to search the old BBS by my username. grrrr. Plus, I thought I posted something about the installation and it never appeared either.

Ken I copied the thread here so we are not Hijacking it from Andrew. Right now there are 3 searches,

1 for the site in general, the one in black at the top of the screen use this one to search everything but the 2 forums.

2 the search on this forum located by scrolling to the top this screen, it's in purple. It searches only this forum.

3 the search function on the old forum, go to the old forum, and at the bottom of the screen in black there is a search and it searches the old forum.

I went to the 3rd search, typed in Tuffy and the 9th thread it found was the one you were looking for. I know its kinda a pain, but its all we can do until everything gets merged together.

Still working on getting all that old stuff pulled into this DB some time if they ever write the import script for it.
