I'm amazed how much work you guys were able to get completed from when I left the shop on Saturday.
Thanks again for all the hard work.

Just posting a couple of new shots. Front hubs are temporary until the machine shop returns the ones that have been modified for the longfields.

THis thing is looking awesome.
I have the same snorkel and I'm trying to fit it to my NAS 110, but I can't get it to work with the roll cage.
How did you guys manage?
Stephen. Can you send me some detailed photos.
Thanks

ThanksFrom what I understood in my time at Stephen's shop this weekend when the inner fenders are removed you can feel around and figure out where it fits in relation to the heater and the roll cage. They used a template to transfer the pattern from the snorkel and airbox bits, then cut and sealed with lots of silicone. I have a proper 300tdi airbox and intake that sit in the wing, but as I have an NAS wing it required the above modification. When sandwitched between the inner and outer pieces the wing doesn't bend and flex. The snorkel itself is pop riveted to the front hoop and as it has all the flexible bits it sits quite nicely. I didn't take anymore pics of the install or I'd send them to you.
Cheers,
S-P

Thanks for the reply. I'm all set inside the wing. Just wondering how it sits on top of the roll rage.
I would think that it doesn't sit flush with the wing.
I'll give Stephen a call.

Hasn't rolled out just yet. The only thing holding up the show are the headlights. Turns out at some point in its life someone cut up the original wiring and now the headlights do not work. So Stephen has been spending lots of time trying to get them to work. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for delivery tomorrow (6/7/09).
I'll fill my Picasa gallery with pics for everyone to see when it is complete.

Sean-Paul, been watching the build on here, looks like a nice setup. My D110 is the one getting re-done by Stephen in his shop next to yours. It's funny becasue we both have the Gator license plates for our defenders. GO GATORS! Lookin great so far!

Ryan,
Thanks and your 110 is going to be something when it's complete too. Go Gators and thank you for your service in the defense of our nation.

I've posted a couple more pics to the picasa site. Unfortunately, the headlights didn't get fixed up until late last Saturday so no delivery last week. I'm hoping for this weekend.
