Just wanted to share some recent stuff I did for a local mag...it's a monthly strip...

After many years I went back to the pencil...I did almost forget the nice feeling it gives!
:)

Here's the "pre-production" sketch and the final artwork...

Shame on me...

Sorry, I'm a lazy bu**er, I worked on the other site (my D90) and I have yet to prepare and upload all the 'toons...
I'll try to work on it in the next weeks.

If there's anything in particular you'd be interested in, let me know.
Thanks!

I did this for the June issue of the magazine.

As I often struggle to fall asleep, I was wondering what people do...counting sheeps?
Something different would suit a Roverhead better...and came this.

I'm not sure I got it right though, my mate pointed out the expression is not quite right...

December 7th, 2010, 05:08 PM
haha.. the other day I came across my stack of remaining site xmas cards I had made a number of years ago with the art you did for me, as well as the matted drawing you sent me. It suprised me because I thought I didnt have any remaining.

Cube II

Time flies, uh?
But, I still remember the card like I did it yesterday.

I wish I were in a better situation and could draw more freely.
I would happily throw down something for that D90 shirt I always had in mind.
Just for the sake of it.

I need to shoot you a PM about a graphic I've been working on for something else, site unrelated.

Cube II
December 7th, 2010, 05:58 PM
Anytime.

The D44 XCard took my last 2 weekends and more, I'm glad it's done (although I would have done it better here and there but there was no time left)...so I can breathe and work on something new.

Plus the Christmas holidays are drawing nearer, some spare time finally.
I hope to make it and start my project of comics strips collection, I need to speak to the printer and see what kind of paper he has on the shelf...:)

Edit: I forgot I have a logo and a banner left behind...ouch...

Damn thats awesome. Can you do one of barry behind Josh doggystyle lifting Josh's leg porno style with barry's balls swinging in motion hitting his butthole and josh's dick? :) And a sketch of my 90 and my 110 together would be cool too. :)

You need a Cintiq (http://www.wacom.com/en/Products/Cintiq/Cintiq24HD.aspx)
I have dual 30s. So used to not looking at my hands when I draw....

Tools are pen (for rough sketches), pencil, brush & ink, and Photoshop (CS3).
And paper of course.

Cintiq?

Too expensive I guess (the last time I checked)...I have a Bamboo tho...

I'm trying to download the drivers right now as the pressure control doesn't work...
:confused

Definitely start using your Bamboo tablet more and get a software called Sketchbook Pro. It's the best tool for what you're doing. It's available for Mac, PC and iPad.

Ok I got it...so far I only played with it a couple of times, it seems less "precise" than Photoshop but fun...good for...well, sketches.

I started with a self-portrait.
I forgot the bags under my eyes.

P.S.
Thanks Scott
