Don't you have a job Randy?
:)
Truck is converted to a rebuilt M&D 300tdi and TD5 trans kit. Complete new paint job, new 2008 doors, all new bushings, seals brakes, etc.. IT will also get a set of RYM springs and 255/85's and new seats. THis is why We had to sell the series coiler.

Looking good Randy. BTW, We got the 1.2 installed last weekend and I am digging it. A great setup with the tdi & 33s, but not sure how well it would work with something bigger.
TDI Guy
April 10th, 2009, 01:18 PM
Good to know Cabell. The truck has the stock 1.2 in it and Will have 285/75's as well. It seems quite peppy now with the stock tires as well.

Truck Looks great, I'm actually painting mine Chawton white, to match my new doors and Windscreen. After seeing yours, I really wanted Z silver, But seeing the white, I think it will look great, especially with Black bumpers, sliders, etc.

My ST has no leaks at all anywhere... This is a rebuilt crate motor. Looks like it comes from between the block and bell housing. Its not the oil pan..
Thanks guys. It came out really nice.

Swapped out the 1.2 t-case for a 1.4..... It runs so much better with the stock gearing and 285 tires. Pulls like a freight train now. The 1.2 was just too high...
Jim C. the t-case worked great. I did a rebuild on it along with a new input gear..

Randy
Where did you end up getting your gear from? Did you do the same thing I did and reuse the old bearing races? Did you readjust the bearing float?
I am planning on dumping this in the transfer case http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370328731686&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT
