colored Christmas bulbs

Where do you find the colored bulbs for the hazard switch front defrost & rear defrost. Dealer says 6$ & there are plain white! I need amber & green! Anyone have experience with bulb die?

I did not. I was tring to find a local option! I wanted to put my dash back together asap. I had just tested the bulbs in the am to find 2 were burned out. Are d90 dashes as fun as a 110?

thanks!! I went with clear & used my daughters finger nail polish to color!!! Hope it don't melt!!

Searched and found this posting. Reassembling dash as well and need same bulb(s)

Ordered bulbs from rovers north to include the Hazard illumination bulb (12V 1.2W outer green not the red flasher) They sent Part#RTC 3635 which is clear.

Attempted to call - they are closed re meeting today. I have since colored same myself to install but does anyone know if you can actually get the green bulb?

(markings "VCH B6 12V 1.2W")


FYI - I was very pleased to find that you can use a SWAN Stabilo - OHPen 96 FINE (Germany) in Green. The bulb is now the exact color and transparency of the OEM. (They also come in yellow, orange, black, brown, red, etc . . )
