Does anyone have a picture of the inside of these? I'm interested because I have an all aluminum one that has an aluminum capping as well. Ideally I'd like to have a galvanized capping to suit the look of the rest of the truck. Mine is removable although the inner ribs cross over the capping and seems a shame to modify the all aluminum one - might be better to get one of these and galvanize the capping.

FWIW the one I purchased from them last week has a steel back / cap so you could galvanize it (That is what I am planning to do)

Oh, are they like the NAS ones with the inside/back and cap all one piece?
Here is what the top inside of my all aluminum one looks like
http://lhsw.com/gallery/janeyTopless/DSC03936
Other than the inside ribs overlapping, it would be easy to just replace the capping, but want to know if those RN ones are like this, or like the NAS ones?
Also do you happen to know how heavy the RN ones are (for shipping estimates)
thanks,
charles

They are the same as the NAS ones (big steel piece across the back and top) except with more ST tie down parts and less holes and some more holes.

I see
So what do people do then - galvanize the whole thing and paint the parts you want paint on? Or dissasemble and galvanize the back/cap?
Lots to think about :)

I was planning to remove the back and have it galvanized. The rest of the tailgate is Alum and I am not sure that you can galv plate alum.. and it seems like it would not be worth it since alum does not rust.
Like Ron said they appear to be just like the NAS without the NAS holes and they have tie downs. I have a NAS swing out and the one from Rovers North sitting next to eachother.
I have the back off the NAS one if you would like to see what the back looks like when removed

Pictures would be great, but I did go out and look at mine and I see the double layer now (I have bolts removed from mine). I agree you can't galvanize aluminum.
Oh and sorry for the major hijack Tom.
