Hello,

A good friend of mine from Argentina is abput to install a Husky 8500 into his defender 110.
Since he is good at welding, he will build the bumper himself but he is a bit short of ideas on how to nstall the bumper and winch high enough in order not to diminish the aproach angle too much. he also wants to install the winch as close to the engine as possible.

His Defender has AC (thereore extends frowards a bit more).

I have helped my friend by colecting some good pictures from this forum of Husky winches installed in Defenders (90 o 110's, doesn't matter) but we would really appreciate if any of you could help us by posting even more pictures of different Husky installations. It could be pictures of the Husky 10,000lbs (probably more abundant in the States) or 8500lbs, any would do.

My friend has sold his former Warn 8000 and bumper in order to to be able to buy and install the Husky so any help on how to design a good bumper will be of great help.

BTW, anybody has a graph/sketch with the dimensions of any of the Husky bumpers which used to be sold by RN (Mantec for erxample) so that we can get some idea of the dimensions?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Cheers,
Santiago
