I should read up on what the differances are. The one in your link certainly is kicking though.

Here's another site Chris... http://www.hpiracing.com/
They have a pretty cool Jeep Rubicon body right on the front page. Wish they can do a defender with that much details.

I got mine on ebay brand new for $350 so there are good deals out there. They are amazing fun in the Desert. It keeps surprising me how much of a beating they can take.
Oh and for the record DJ, Barbie threw her panties at the truck right after the picture was taken :grin

Hey Guys,
I use to work with RC cars a lot and now that I have a defender I end up working on that. But, Traxxas makes the T-maxx which is a nitro monster truck. It has been out for a long time so there are loads of aftermarket parts. The downside of a T-maxx is that it comes in Ready-to-Run format i.e. no fun building it. HPI makes great kits as well. For the most part you cant go wrong with a Traxxas, HPI or Associated truck. They are fun, loud, and smell like nitro.

SWEEET, I love it. Do you rock crawler with it? I need to get my self one of those but need to have the one in garage running first.
I know with the double coil overs it can handle big jumps really well but how does it flex.
Is it locked?

Ok, I finally broke down and bought a T-Maxx this weekend. I used to race electric buggies in the 80's but grew out of it. OMG this thing is a blast! You can beat the hell out of it and it keeps running. We've been jumping it down stair cases in the park and flying off 4 foot ramps at the local track. The only problem is I can't find a Defender body for it. There's got to be one out there but all my googling is fruitless. Ebay isn't getting me anywhere either. The local hooby shop came up empty talking to all their suppliers. He told me if I can find a source let him know.
David, where did you get that body? Do you have the guy's email address? I have got to have that body. :)

Thanks, I dropped him a note. The owner of my local hobby store said to let him know if I can find a supplier as he thinks my D-90 is the coolest thing and would like to stock those bodies.
If anyone is thinking about picking one of these T-Maxxes up, I suggest 2 if you have a son. You'll never get to play with it otherwise. Also you'll find yourself torn between upgrading it or your Defender. :)
