The ones with the shoulders that go through the bushings. I need to buy a tap for them as they are filled with zinc from the trip to the galvanizers. I also need to figure out how to clean the zinc off the threads of the studs where the tire mounts. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Ron

There must be some sort of reaming/facing tool like the ones used on a new bike frame to make the head tube and bottom bracket clean for the bb to thread in and the headset to seat properly to get the threads of the tire carrier clean

sure if you want to drop $250 bones every time a problem comes up. or just buy the ones you need, especially if you already have handles. OTOH that seems like an OK price for a pretty comprehensive set
