Hello guys,

I know some people have done chevy's 305, 350 ford 351 and other engine swaps to land rovers, but i dont have much info about it.

I'm collecting all the info that i can to make a decision and i need to know how i can do it.

If you know something about it, please let us know about it.

Thanks in advance for the info.

Michael Slade is probably the best resource for the SBC (small-clock Chevy) install, since he's probably got the most "proven" set-up. All are custom of course, no one makes a "kit," but by the time a truck comes up for sale, the shop or person who did the install is kind of forgotten. The only person I know of who has done their own and run it for a while is Slade.

Timm Cooper in Northern Cal also does these fairly regurlarly. He has built some very impressive chevy powered rigs.

Doesn't Timm Cooper mainly do series trucks? I'm don't know much about him except I've noticed when a couple of his trucks have come up for sale.

I've had two Rovers with Ford V-8 conversions and I don't recommend it. Too much motor. Hard to keep cool.
