I got a jeep catalog in the mail the other day and they were selling the Bestop Super Seat. THe mounting brackets look exactly like the ones in the D-90s. Does anyone know about this. THe seats look pretty nice and pretty reasonable too!!!

You will most likely have to build an adapter plate to fit them to the D-90 sliders, then there is the issue of access to the battery etc. The seats are fairly comfortable I put them in my CJ5, But they look like jeep seats, not like Rover seats.

Craig

I looked on the Bestop website and couldn't locate the seats you're talking about. Anyway you might be able to post a picture of it? Thanks.

I purchased (1) seat for my CJ7 a few years back from an ATV store. It sat higher than the stock Jeep seat and had very good side support. The whole seat moved up and forward for easy access to the rear of the Jeep (just like the stock Jeep seats).

Just my experience.

No rear bench? Or is the TrailMax roll and tumble the D90 "alternative?" It doens't look as if the mounts are the same, but from the picture it looks as if there are no mounts? Anyone seen this is person?

DJ,
I had the fold and tumble put in the back of my st. The brackets were made by Matt at RW. The seat is fairly uncomfortable and it has a protruding ridge near the highest point of the back cushion. At the time it was our only option.

Ah, I see. I was hoping that maybe I could get rid of my old one and get a nice new rear bench, but it sounds as if I should stick with what I have. Thanks Sean!
