Anyone running these in a 300TDi?

There are alot of horror stories about the zeus gears. Search yahoo, and you will come up with a couple of sites for expeditions that had problems with them. Do yourself a favor and just change the timing belt every 60,000 miles.

I know of the bad stuff on their early iterations because they used incorrect metals. They have fixed this, so they say.

Problem is the belt can fail much earlier than what LR says.

hei på dere:) a frend of mine had his 300 tdi on zeus timing kit. it lasted 11 months, before it broke. and then he had to rebild his 300 tdi whith a neaw kit from zeus, this becourse the warranty. this time it lasted only 5 months . he is back on timing belt..please dont forgeth that i am from norway..my spellin is not correckt i belive.

Yes, I am NOT installing these as they are NOT properly designed/manufactured for this purpose.
