Will work on a 1994. You do have to move your ECU.

I prefer to have a manually operated hood latch. It would work in a 1997 if you can adapt the lines.

To fit a manually operated hood latch like on an early 110 or series truck, I need to remove the AC fan. As I don't use the AC much, I figured I would sell the AC and put the latch on I want.

Ah makes sense and yeah bold move. I guess there is no humidty in PA so you should be fine on those summer days when you have to wear a suit and drive the 90 to work

better off to fit some military hood latches IMO. Or can you modify the cable latch yo work from outside?

I can't just sell the condensor as it would make the rest of it less valuable. Did you hook up with the guy who bought Mike H's old truck? I know that thing has a condensor on the front and nothing else.
