Joel,
That is one great looking D-90! I didn't think I would like the color as I read thru the thread but it came out awesome!! Do you restore full time?

No my full time occupation is more along the lines of dismantler rather than restorer... I like to think of myself as a amateur professional restoration enthusiast

Truck threw a check engine lamp and the owner ran it by the dealer- had a code for downstream O2 sensor, they want $550 for the part alone!!!!

Yeah well better than a random shop. I am going to head down there and bring it back to take care of it.

Joel, what's a quality respray run? I've started to get some corosion around the parking lights and such so I've been thinking about nipping this in the bud, sooner rather than later.

If its just a spray of the original color, and not a color change, it should go for around $1500-$2000, maybe a little less if you do the prep work.

Missed this post before, if he was doing the prep work why would he be asking me for a quote?
Anyhow, there are several key factors as to how much a respray will run you, so like I said it is best to email me.

The era of the cheap respray has not passed us by, if that is what you are looking for you can surely find it.
