These things are sweet...a great theft deterrent when my Rhodesian Ridgeback isn't in the truck.

Looks good. The website says they are $120. Is that for the pair, or each side? Also, do you feel that they need to be attached in the middle, at the top and bottom? How loud are they, because I will be running my ST with a surrey. Thanks

Chris

Hey Chris -

The nets will fasten so tightly to your rear roll cage that you won't even notice they are there. My rear seatbelts made more racket than anything else in the truck. However, I found a cheap way to fasten them down using fastex buckles and webbing from REI. The nets are $120 for the pair. You can also purchase an additional strap from Raingler for a few extra bucks that will secure the middle section. They also just recently made a rear net for the tailgate section. I hope that helps.

A year ago, Eddie from Raingler posted an offer of a discount on the 3 piece net set if 5 people signed up. I am looking to get him to offer it again. Amazing item as I've found posts on these all the way back to 2003and not one person on this forum has a negative comment.

If anyone else is interested in buying this product (3 piece window nets), please reply to this email and fingers crossed, I can get Eddie (who is apparently a good guy, per multiple email postings) to match or beat his May 2009 discount of $250 shipped for the set.

I use the tailgate net as a divider in my D90 station wagon and it works great! I wanted something that didn't go all the way to the roof yet would keep the dog from joining us up front if I slammed on the brakes. The way I have it it goes from about the top of the cubby box up to the top of the headrest.

I love the nets in my truck as well. They keep my kids safe, look good, I think it's a good theft deterrent, and keeps dogs from jumping out when there is another dog in heat.

The discounted price is 250 shipped correct? Does this include the 2 sides and the tailgate?
I think these might come in handy...almost had a surfboard fly out the rear of my 90 on sunday.

Yep, I love 'em. Keep things in and people out. Also good for hanging things on in camp. One of the better things you can add to an ST.

If you look close you can see them in my profile pic from SCARR a few years ago.

Installed mine this weekend. They're along the outside of the cage right now as I have a second spare secured in the tub. They look great, didn't whistle on the highway, and I trusted them on the rock challenge to keep all of the crap I had in the back from falling out.
