Spotted a 109

I was on the outerbanks over the weekend and I spotted a yellow 109 for sale. I think it was series II but I wasn't sure. I meant to stop and get a picture but it just slipped my mind. It was in Nags Head on the Beach Road. It had the two lights in the grill as usaul, then it had two more lights on the front fenders light defenders and such. The guys at the Brew Thru thought it was a toyota, got a little chuckle out of it.

Friend of mine knows the owner. It's not in that great of shape inside. He's also got a 90.

Outside looked fine, but I never saw the inside. I wanted to stop to get the number for it but I got pressured for time. It had VA tags though. I have spent alot of time down there and never say many series or 90's. I did pass a blue series 88 i think on my way to Oregon Inlet the same day.

Where you driving down 158 Saturday afternoon? I saw a red 90 headed west/north on 158?

Yeah I was, but mine is a white ST. I never saw any D90's. Besides the Series, I saw mostly first generation Hummers and so on. A friend I have down there restores Land Cruisers for a hobby and I saw one of his.
