eh, so I replaced my existing studs with the stainless steel set that GCR sells. knowing that they were a tight fit going on, i should've been smart enough to realize, they were going to be a chore getting off. anyone have any tricks for popping them back off and what i should do to the studs (machine 'em down?)?
Thanks!

Try some lubricant?

So are you trying to remove the stainless studs?
Just don't do what I did and tighten them so far that you push up the bottom window runner . . . d'oh! must remember to order that part sometime . . .

Whenever your trying to bang a stud through a tight hole, its best to use lubricant, and some sweet talk :lol

I used a small round file to clean up the holes in the door to make sure that the window just fell into place. I also spray some lithium grease onto the stainless steel posts before I drop the window in place. They are well worth the cost.....

Ah-ha...round file on the door holes sounds like the winner! Now to get the blasted things off the doors. Almost gave myself an aneurysm this weekend. Thanks for the replies!
