Getting ready to repaint my roof and the sealant in my gutters looks like it could use some work.
What type of sealant should be used on the seams and gutters of a SW roof?

This stuff looks good. I've read of people using it from the UK forums.

Dave,
marine product made by 3m called 5200. Comes in white and black get the white quick dry. Awesome stuff and it comes in caulk tubes. Sandable, paintable and your truck will never leak in that spot again.

I would think you need seam sealer, prime & paint afterwards.

Kind of. It will seal just about anything, but is rather messy. Also, 5200 takes forever to dry, even up to several days actually. 4200 is a little better on the dry time.
If you have the time, 5200 is a great product.
